And here is another link to titles http://www.basenji.org/versatility/HallofFame.htm From BCOA for Versatility Champions…. Of which I am a very proud breeder of a Versatility Champion... DC Tanza's Madini Almasi,CGC,FCH,RA,CD (received her "DC" and "RA" after)..... I did the showing for her Championship... both Ann and I did lure coursing (but lets face it, coursing is all about the dog only) and Ann of course did all the OB work....

@ibi_n_sane: how funny, never heard of that, makes me wonder why they should not need teeth for eating veggies? they need to chew them too right? yeah…that is a load ;) that would mean that cows, horses, gorillas? wouldn't need teeth... I agree that dogs probably shouldn't be penalized for missing an incisor...but does it lead to missing molars (big problem for crunching bones)...and missing canines (big problem for catching prey)? I don't know, because I haven't run across more than one Basenji that was missing an incisor.

@Terry: Onofrio has an exhibitor's code that they want you to use - but I've only done it when I make online entries. Terry Okay, It was Onofrio so that makes sense now. I noticed on the premium for the all breed show that they have a "new exhibitors" briefing, so maybe the checkbox helps them alert us newbies.

@soulmate: Never heared of these judges before. But I have to tell you, that I am quite happy with these lots of new judges no one knows already. So you never know, what you can expect….. Regards, Esther That's True! :D On my showlist there are many unknown judges! Only hope they all know enough of B's :D @ibi_n_sane: well mrs, Broecker, she judges my ibizans once on a show in the morning and later she called them back as she had to judge the pharaohhounds… she is also not very carefull and really rough with the dogs she judges. said enough? >grin< but for the group you should not care about this ;) Thanks :D For the group judgements we don't mind the judge.. But to call in an Ibizan for a Pharaoh… hmz... hahahaha (did they play in the mud the day before show???)

Thank you everyone. I wasn't sure he was going to get it all because on the last leg, he refused to sit at every station. I had to retry two stations twice and two stations once each. Shadow would look at the ground and ignore me! I came out of the ring and a woman asked me,'What happened?'. I had to tell her that they are independent and if he decided he wasn't going to co-operate, he just wouldn't do it. He is solid when he does something, but to get him to do it is another thing. He had two trials in one day, so I guess he figured one time being good was enough, he didn't have to do it twice. Ahhhh, it's a B!

@tanza: Great video… she looks good and typically "puppy"...gggg One pointer for you, when trying to move her front legs on the table, move from the elbow instead of mid/lower leg... she is less likely to pull it away from you.... Thanks for that! Will try that next time :D And yes the breed ring was tiny, and Maya (when she actually gets going) has such a long stride and trots out quite fast so it wasnt ideal. But better than being out in the rain :) Thanks for all the nice comments.

Janneke it would be so cool to come to the german speciality but this summer is all about saving a buffert for the winter as Miss Efia is to be mated in October and if all goes well have some cute puppies in December. Her future beau is a good looking Tri boy AB Push The Envelope he?s half brother to Rafikis Icon Of Cool aka Blade.I think that this will be a good combination they compliment each other really well and both have such sweet natures just waiting for the last health tests.

Thanks, everyone. Bella is taking a break from the show ring for a few weeks to allow her housemates a chance to get out and do some racing. We won't be showing again until June.

@lvoss: Being in the puppy class hasn't hurt Bella. My mom didn't expect her to do very well her first few shows so has had her entered in puppy so the judge would know that it was puppy antics. So don't count yourself out just because you are in the puppy classes either. Right, exactly….I think that if your puppy is the best one there, it doesn't matter to most judges what class she is in.
