My New Baby…
-
I finally had Richard at home to help me get these pics downloaded…
The pics were taken at between 5-6 weeks old. She is apparently very much a wiggly worm, and poor Kylie has had a really hard time getting her to stack decently… (Im happy with the shots, but Kylie isnt...)
Her Registered name is WAZAZI LIVING DOLL... I think she looks like a little doll at the moment, maybe I wont think that, after her first TP destruction !!!
You cant see in the pics, but she has a V shape on her neck, so I am looking at giving her a name starting with V. The ones we have short listed are, Venus, Vixen, Vanda, and Veesha... Im more than happy to have any other V names, ones that are a little unusual would be great...
Enjoy :):):)

She's absolutely adorable Saba!

She looks lovely saba, your very lucky.
If your looking for other V names - my foundation dobe bitch was called Varri - originally she was called Mhairi (the gaelic version of Mary or Marie) but its pronounced Varri, and we eventually got fed up spelling and explaining her name that we just reverted to writing it as Varri anyway….she won a CC at Crufts, so maybe it would be a lucky name!
cheers

Scott,
Im just curious as to how you would pronounce the name Varri… Would it be Varri like Harry, or like Vaaaaari, if you get what I mean ??? It is a lovely name...

Thanks for the lovely comments, everybody… I think she just might be a bit special too !!!
Im so lucky that Kylie has allowed these gorgeous dogs into my life/home... They are such a fascinating breed, and its impossible to just stop at one :D
Veesha is up in the top 2 names at the moment, the only thing I worry about, is it a bit of a mouthful ??? Both daughters like that name the best, but, luckily I have the final say in this house about all the dogs names, ACD's and the B's..............................SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH dont let my hubby hear me say that :D:D

Its pronounced with a hard a, like Harry - but you can pronounce it any way you want i suppose - my very first dobe was called Britta - which should be pronounced as in pitta, but we always said Breeta….i think i have confused myself now..

What a cute puppy! I'm sure her name will come to you.

You are so lucky. What an adorable pup.

Very very cute!
Name with V eh? A suggestion from me: Vasita: Group of Hindu Goddesses. Vasita means willpower.
Was one of my picks if I got a bitch, but my Basenji turned out a boy so….
I'm not Hindu, just liked the sound and the meaning of it. Anyways, feel free to use it if you like it! ;) -
I love Basenjis, especially puppies. My B, Sahara is red & white, so of course I am parcel to these. I like the V names, Vega meaning Falling Star, Vashti, meaning very beautiful, and Victoria, meaning Great lake of Africa. I really like Africian names, hence my B name Sahara, her full name is Africian Queen Sahara, like the Sahara Dessert in Africa.
