Cali has a hooded cat bed and she turned round in it once and it rolled over, she then popped her head out as if to say "I meant to do that honest"

DH and I were talking about that look the other day…. occasionally he will miss when jumping on the couch or the bed, so he walks away and looks at us over his shoulder like "nah- I really only wanted to get my front paws on the couch, I meant to do it that way..."

@ Eli-and-me: Haha, I heard him fall.. but I think he didn't notice it at first.. he lay there long enough for me to get my mobile and take a picture :) He stood up.. got back in position and closed his eyes.. like nothing had happened :cool:

In the last picture he is looking at the bushes as if he is convinced that someone or something must have made him fall. He couldn't have done it on his own! This time he's sleeping on the other side and taking no chances.

Haha I love those moments. Lola was under the covers once & fell off the bed, but took the covers with her. She was so cocooned in them she didn't even notice. I woke up & couldn't find her. She was asleep in the blankets on the floor.

I just had to laugh big time. That's happened to EL D a number of times and he always has that "I meant to do that" look. Once he tried jumping on the chair and missed and went over the side - first came the totally surprised look he didn't know I'd seen then the typical "of course" look. They can be so funny sometimes.
