I am in Toronto and am planning to get a Basenji next year. I would love to hear what breeders you all used and what your experience was like!!

No Basenji breeders right around Edmonton anymore. Closest is a breeder in Calgary. Most of the Basenjis around here recently have been coming from Beaubri kennels in Mission, BC. She breeds nice Basenjis. -Joanne

Hi Tasia. I see that it has been a couple of years since you posted but we are in the Lehigh Valley and have a Basenji mix who would love a play date. He is only 3 years old though, so you know.

There is a group in Facebook called "London Basenjis" and has 27 members, hopefully you will find some Basenjis friends there. All the best.

I will check out the Facebook page. There is a nice dog park in Encinitas, but I'm not sure how far you are from the area.

Beaubri Basenji's in mission bc are one of the top basenji breeders in bc if not Canada. If you are still looking I would get in touch with Simone she is the breeder.

Wife and I are empty nesters serious considering a Basenji as a companion pet. I've been searching for someone in Nashville area that might have one that we can observe. @Rufous: I live in OC. My two boys would love to run around with other "B's". Located in Fountain Valley. Who is in? I live near Mile Square Park and own a female Basenji puppy 6 months old. Would love for her to meet another basenji.

We are in pacifica, about 15 minutes south of the city. We have a black and white boy. Pm me if you want to meet up. Ours is 2.5 years old

also look at events listed on the CKC web site under lure coursing and on the CASFA site. I know the ontario club runs near niagra falls several times a year.
