@renaultf1: I've heard about it with light posts and I've heard about it happening with sewer grates & manhole covers as well. Light posts I can understand, but sewer grates and manhole covers?! Why in the world would they be electrified?

Oh, I was just reminded of this one this morning. The hair dryer! Whenever I blow-dry my hair, Becca runs into the bathroom to make sure that she gets her fair share of the warmth of the blow-drier. I'll dry my hair then put it on her for a bit and this cycles until I am done…..then she runs back to bed.

Wow - if the dialaogue in the above posts don't point out that things can and do get taken in the wrong context and that differing personalities sometimes result in disastrous responses, I have no idea how it could be put more clearly! Gentle out, dear readers…......................

Hi Lori, I live in Redwood City (mid peninsula). There's an off leash area (Pulgas Ridge) in San Carlos I take Buddy to that's up in the hills near Interstae 280. It's big and the dogs have a great time. http://www.openspace.org/preserves/maps/pr_pulgas_ridge.pdf The off leash area. A meet up at Fort Funston would be a lot of fun. @Quercus: ??? we knew ;) Nice piece :) +1, but I guess at one point in time, i was a clicker newbie. i find the hard thing with clicker training is staying on track. I tend to go "gosh, that was a cute behavior! i should aim for that" but i am easily distracted by shiny blingbling. but nice piece of writing!

Very nice! And Fran, if you look in lower right corner of any posted youtube video, it will open there if you click the "tube" part.

@MacPack: Nice! Are you getting the 'tat of him? I will be, but it will be a different image. Custom, with a lot of symbolism.

I R So Relieved:o Hoping for the day when my boy is more of a cuddler. However, I just looked out on the front porch and he is sleeping with his housemates enjoying the fresh air. Why are they such angles when asleep???? (answer: cuz they ain't tearing up tissues and papers….)...And yes, I agree with you, they know!!!! Enjoy your cuddle time, and don't they just make you feel better! Sometimes better than a hubby! (ooops!) well, they woke up for the camera. have to wait until the Advantix drys….

LOL Fran, skin has to be nice and crispy to eat. :) But we'd fight over dressing! We had 3 varieties– traditional, one with extra herbs and then one with oysters. My daughter has always refused oysters in dressing, but since we bought ready made at Harry's Market I got a pan of each. She tried it, agreed best she had ever had.

Hahaha. Yeah I heard that too. Hardly seems like an effort to a big company like that. Works out to 400 000 a year.

Patty, thanks for the note. I told Lisa not to spend the $$ as Wheat is going to always be a virgin, but she wanted to, just for information to share with folks. I can't believe what a treat this little girl is to our family. She came all the way from Africa to find us. We are so lucky.

@MacPack: Jingle in the woods: good. Jingle in the bedroom at 2 am: not good. LOL, "flapping" when the dog wakes up to resettle is bad enough without jingling too! None of my dogs has ever worn a collar in the house. We say "You're going out. Time to put on your collar & tie" (my horses only wear halters when necessary as well)
