Oh Fran, I hope Darrel is improving and will be home soon. Hugs to you and Kipawa, I'm sure he misses his Dad as much as you do.
Christmas gift ideas

Undoubtedly we here are animal lovers. If you have come to a point where you don't know what to give to people for Christmas, make a donation to BRAT or look at the World Wildlife 'adoption' page. My husband is getting a donation to BRAT this year as his gift, and I am looking at some adoptable creatures to give my sis and her husband. Dr. Jo, there is even a river otter!

As for WWF, I have not done tons of research on how their donation money is spent - how much (percentage) actually goes to helping the animals you pick. Yes, might be dumb on my part. I guess my main message here is that there are so many cool ways to give gifts now.

My siblings and I used to exchage gifts - now I just tell them to donate to BRAT and they think it's great.

Years ago I had a lady make mirrors for my daughter and all her friends. She will do your own pics or whatever (we did Lord of the Rings cause it was in then, afterwards she did a bunch of Harry Potter for us). This isn't the same person but she also does custom ones:

How clever! I take meds daily and would sure find them easier to swallow with a pic of Johnny Depp on the pill container.

ROFLMAO. I only got the mirrors but you are right.
