    Christmas is also Abbey's 6th birthday, so here's her list for Santa: a big cardboard box to rip up without Mom yelling "Hey, what are you doing?!", a baby like the one that came to visit us last Christmas, a nice patch of grass for those times when she needs to eat and barf, lots of chocolate and bacon (bacon, bacon), a whole roll of paper towels, a box of Ritz crackers, and a new tail and ears for her pink birthday bunny that Santa brought last year because she well, you know….and I should ask Santa for a new remote for myself because she well, you know....

    Love Abbeys list for Santa, what about a roll of toilet paper, maybe some glasses (especialy the plastic ear pieces) Plastic bottle, couple of pens, in fact anything she shouldn't have :D

    @nyoung15 My basenji was super picky when he was a puppy.... until I started to cook for him amazing recipies heheeh, but then pandemic season was over and I had to go back to work and started to give him whole barf ( raw food ) it comes with meat veggies, fruits, raw bones and vitamines.

    Hi @Vesna, it’s interesting you say that about the spay. Our tri-color actually just got spayed this week and her coat shed before that. I noticed small amount of black hair growing in where she shed, hopefully it grows back. What phase is your tri-color at? Did this just happen?

    My undergraduate degree was in geophysics with a minor in applied math. I name all my Basenjis after Indian mathematicians. My current Basenjis are Madhava of Sangamagrama (Madhava for short) and Bramagupta (Bramagupta for short). They do respond to their "short" names.

    This entire thread is hysterical. (Sorry, Tucker…I guess it wasn't funny while cleaning up) I have tears in my eyes. Thanks for making me laugh! Glad to know he's doing well. I've been there quite a few times myself, but usually it's limited to the dining room rug. Can't wait to throw that sucker out...
