Thanks again for all of your advice. It is nice to know that I am not the only one who is dealing with such a strong willed animal. He is currently laying on the floor chewing on a nylabone as is my golden "Levi". I can't say it often enough "I LOVE NYLABONES!" Well, now he is in my lap chewing his nylabone because Levi thinks that if Taz is chewing on it, it has to be better than the one he has. LOL

Hi Julia, welcome to the group! Do you have a Basenji, or are you planning on getting one? (i.e.; Tell us something about your pup and give us pics... we all love the pics!)

Thanks Everyone for welcoming.
No, I don't have Basenji. But I am planning to get one. Currently, I own a Pomchi.
It's a lovely dog breed and very calm. But I am little confused about their behavior.
My Pomchi is temperamentally strong, let me know if Basenji can adjust with
Pomchis. -
I'm not sure how to respond to that question. Most animals (IMHO) will adapt to coexisting on their own terms, however, I do not see a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix being top dog in this scenario. I can easily picture a few "discussions" between the two before the issue is settled. I think the same would result regardless of the (second) dog's breed. How would you feel/react if your two imagined dogs had a scuffle?
