Hey, that's MINE!

  • :D Benji used to hide food in the corner of the room and scrape virtual dirt over it, he would spend ages doing this and because we had a bare floor his nose would make squeaking sounds :D Sometimes he wouldn't be satisfied it was well enough hidden and he would pick a new spot and repeat the process. Like your Nika our other dog would sit watching, wait for him to walk away and then amble over and eat the goody :D

  • They are insidious clowns, aren't they?

  • @AJs:

Yep! Ringo used to love the smell of coffee so I used to give him 1 coffee bean once in a while and he'd take it in the dining room and like a cat with catnip roll around on it for 30 seconds then eat it.:D

  • Thats just so funny, I love the expression! :D

  • You HAVE to send that one in to the calendar. That picture is priceless!

  • I agree - great pic and great expression!

  • AJs human, im just jealous that you use hair ties.

Unfortunately i wouldnt have a use for them nowadays unless its for chest hair!

  • That would be funny…:D

I believe a woman's hair is her glory. That's in a religious Tome somewhere, but American Indians believe this as well. My hair falls past my waist.

    Cheers

  • AJs Human love that hair just about three weeks ago I cut a good 6 inches off my hair and I still can sit on it. My sons hair goes to his waist my daughters was past her bottom but she has cut it back to the middle of her back.

  • Last time I cut may hair was 3 years ago when my ex's mother died. She was the last Full-blood Indian in her tribe. Cut half my hair off for her. It took 4 hours to burn it! Chief made fun of me because of how long it took.:D

  • That's really neat we use to go to the Indian Res in Stroud, Okla. My grandparent's last name is also Stroud funny right. My aunt was full blooded I have Indian in me but that darn German in me takes over ever now and again. While my children are Indian, Greman, Japanese made my daughter beautiful my son not sure he is still growing.

  • I'm 1/4 Mescalero Apache. My older daughter (in college now) is nearly half. I look more white, but she looks Full blooded. She's gorgeous. Don't have any good photos of her in digital form or I'd post it in "other pets" hehehe:D

  • I just call children the two legged ones. I bet your daughter is beautiful. Well the Japanese and Indian really made my daughter beautiful. My mother in-law when she was young was to die for so so very beautiful. My husband is very handsome as long as he has his beard hard to see or tell the Japanese but without hello.

  • I lived in Japan for 1 1/2 yrs as a teenager. My stepdad was a Marine. We were on the island of Okinawa. Japanese women are very beautiful. I love their fine features. I'll wager your daughter has no shortage of fawning beaux.

  • That is neat that you lived in Japan I would love to see it but I am not to crazy about flying. Until you can drive there I am not going. My father-in-law was Army how he of course meet and married mom. My husband brother Frank was born in Japan. My husband was born in Texas and was in Arkansas.

  • You could always swim…:D

  • That is really funny I never learned how to swim.

    I spent a year on Okinawa as a Marine when I was 19 (73-74).

  • We lived off-base just outside the back gate of Futenma. I went to high school at Kubasaki and was on the Zukeran swim team. (Maybe some day I'll teach Rita Jean)
I was there 82-84. My step dad was pretty hard-core. He was 28 yrs in then, MasterSgt. I didn't get away with much.

I was at Camp Foster. Had a lot of fun running around in those towns!

Keep in mind, unless you correct them "in the act" they really have no clue that they have done something wrong, or more to the point "what they did wrong"…. shredding is pretty natural to a Basenji

Usually we put presents under the tree, but I just don't dare since getting the B girls! Presents all hide in closets until it's actually time for them to be opened. We always wrap special treats for the girls and the cat as well, so they can tear something open to get to the goodies. Then the treats keep them busy while everyone else is unwrapping. The great-grandkids have been warned NOT to leave their stuff on the floor or where they look like dog toys on tables, etc.

Snorky, Yes, Jason is very talented with the camera, although he won't agree if you ask him…so silly! Yes, Roo still fits in the bike trailer (Burley Tail Wagon.) Actually both dogs can go in it at the same time, there is a cloth divider so Bonzo doesn't have to put up with Roo's antics on the trip. Miranda
