I am not sure though if we remain strong with Greece and Spain going bankrupt in the EU …. but that is a different matter >grin<
One of those days
-
Have you ever had one of those days where nothing seems to be going right? Today has been one of those days for me. I took Nicky for his morning walk and tripped over the edge of the concrete and fell. Nothing serious, skinned palms, scuffed the knees on my jeans, jarred my shoulder. Of course, Nicky thinks we should keep walking when all I want to do is head home. Get home take off Nicky's collar, decided to sit down at my computer to finish my homework for on online class. No sooner do I sit down then I tumble backwards and find myself facing the ceiling, my chair has broken in two. At this point there is not much to do but laugh.
Now that would be enough for most days but it doesn't stop there. I am driving down to San Diego as soon as my husband gets off of work for dog shows tomorrow and Sunday. So I after finishing my homework I start to pack. I go to look for my keys to get something out of the car, guess where I found them? Locked in my car. Of course, I can't find my spares so I will have to wait until my husband gets home to get the stuff out of the car. Also, made another discovery, scuffed knees on my jeans translates into skinned knee when you got to shave for a show. I'm hoping this means I'm due for some good luck in the near future.

Yep, I hate those days! The broken chair after a fall on walk is definitely a bad way to start the day. Hoping the rest of the day was OK.
-
Wow, you sure do deserve some good things now!
-
OK, so things happen in 3's… you had your 3 for the day

Sorry you fell but am gald your ok well ok all but the knees. The chair I had to laugh just gald you were not hurt.
I hope this can make you laugh.
Have a friend in army both her and her husband. She was gone overseas for a year and got home in time to go to some big to do thing for her husband. She went out put her two dogs in the truck had forgot her purse went back into the house and came back and well keys in truck and dogs had locked the doors. She called the base right away tried to get Ryan but they said he was busy so she called the toyota dealership and ask which window was the cheapest to replace. Well you all ready know rest of the story she broke out the window. At least you did wait on your husband. Have a great weekend.Rita Jean

Yes, I can laugh. It actually struck me as very funny as I was staring at the ceiling. And while I was laying laughing about my chair having broke Nicky was shredding the judging program for this weekend's show. His way of telling me that he didn't appreciate the short walk.

So good luck this weekend… and for your Mom too..... and drive safely....

In the UK we call it Sod’s law, also know as Murphy’s law. If anything can go wrong, it will.
I had one memorable one years ago, My Basenjis decided to make her own way home while out on a walk, and instead of going under a bridge and avoiding the traffic she choose to go over it and through the traffic!
Needless to say she had been run over for the second time in her life and was in need of veterinary help, so I jumped in the car and turned the key, the engine momentarily tuned over and came to an abrupt stop, the cam belt had broken. Why now of all times!
So at great expense a veterinary ambulance was called, the next day she was right as rain with just a few stitches to show for the ordeal.

I'm so glad your girl was okay though your pocketbook was quite a bit lighter.

Oh no Lisa!!! Hope all is better soon! And good luck this weekend!

Yikes Lisa! I hope that is the last of it and bring on the good stuff!

Thankfully you kept your sense of humor intact! I'm sure it's all smooth sailing after all of that!
