Thank you for the well wishes… Still happily floating around on Cloud Nine, although I've had 1 or 2 crashes back to earth !!! Now if Vanda would just come into season, and NOT copy what her mother is doing, (in/out, in/out), I would be very happy :-)...

Congratulations! On a side note: I work on tracking with Oakley to help mentally stimulate him; granted its only for fun but he likes it ( for awhile)…

@Rita: Thank you Pat we had walked her many times but it must not have been enough at least it was not poop thank goodness. I have never been around a breed of dogs that most if not all females of that breed were in season at same time. Rita Jean Yes, makes it quite an "impossible" situation… especially for the males...

@ibi_n_sane: how funny, never heard of that, makes me wonder why they should not need teeth for eating veggies? they need to chew them too right? yeah…that is a load ;) that would mean that cows, horses, gorillas? wouldn't need teeth... I agree that dogs probably shouldn't be penalized for missing an incisor...but does it lead to missing molars (big problem for crunching bones)...and missing canines (big problem for catching prey)? I don't know, because I haven't run across more than one Basenji that was missing an incisor.

@tanza: Great video… she looks good and typically "puppy"...gggg One pointer for you, when trying to move her front legs on the table, move from the elbow instead of mid/lower leg... she is less likely to pull it away from you.... Thanks for that! Will try that next time :D And yes the breed ring was tiny, and Maya (when she actually gets going) has such a long stride and trots out quite fast so it wasnt ideal. But better than being out in the rain :) Thanks for all the nice comments.
