Dolce is a sweetheart. Who knew when we named her that her name would so well describe her. Funny, some dogs are better behaved than many children, yet dogs are banned from most public establishments here in the USA.
I'll take this as a sign…

I swear, I only left the room for a minute! I just happened to hear him drag something out of his crate and across the kitchen floor. It's been so warm today that I left the back door open so they can come in and out as they please, so I followed the trail to see his latest handiwork.
I'll take this as a sign that he wants a new bed… or maybe he just thought it would make a really good toy at that moment. Ah well, it's about time for a new bed anyway, I suppose.

He's well and truly killed it

I just got Buddy a new pad for his dog house and presto I got to see what was inside. At least he took it outside.

What a stinker! Let me guess: when you found him with the carcass of the bed, he looked at you proudly as if to say, "Look, Mom! Aren't you happy I killed the nasty bed-monster for you? You know, you have me to thank for making the house safer."

It looks like a CSI crime scene. Better get that green stuffing down to the lab. I wonder if the bed was still alive when he dragged it outside for the final destuffing??

Or he made this cute innocent basenji face: "Who, me? Mom, I would never do such a thing… It was like that when I found it." That's what my boxer does.

Oh yes, he was very proud, especially after he figured out I wasn't mad.

That looks just like the green couch stuffing that i come home to most days (I stopped getting the small tear in the couch sealed after he kept opening the same spot). It's not in a visible location anyways… silly dogs they are
