What a wonderful Christmas story. I am so glad he came home and was OK, I can only imagine how awful your friend must have felt, thinking he was lost, injured and freezing. Nice to hear a really great happy ending.

Alright, I'm back at it again, so I figured I'd just continue an old thread. I am, again, looking for someone willing to sponsor me for the BCOA. The BCOA members that know me the best are from here, so I figured I'd start here. I have also tried emailing a couple members in CO to meet with them, but haven't gotten any replies. here in the Netherlands a lot of mix breeds look like yours, they are Jack Russell x Dachshund mixes.

Today, I started a pet sitting assignment for regular clients. They left instructions and a lovely Christmas card with a $25 gift certificate for Starbucks. Considering I'm a California girl, that made me happy, but the down side is the nearest Starbuck is at least 35 miles from here. Do I drive 70 miles r/t for a Starbucks? Darn right, I do! :) Some things I just not willing to give up. Perfect gift!

Thank you, we are back from hospital. All tests came back negative and they say it could be cervical vertigo… Muscle relaxers and rest is prescribed with a check back if all is not well in ten days. We are glad he is home, Bella is doing her happy dance!!!

If it's commercially made chocolate, they'd have to eat a lot to get sick. If it's 'real' chocolate, a little amount can be sufficient to really make them sick. Commercial chocolate is a lot of fake stuff.

@lvoss: It may not be so much that she wants "your food" as she wants cooked food because she is not used to raw. My mom has 3 basenjis, 2 prefer raw and 1 will only pick at it. He doesn't seem to like the texture and feel of it. One of the two who prefer raw will barely eat if offered kibble or canned. All of them will eat a homemade cooked diet though. that's maybe an Idea! but raw chickenbones, and al kind of raw snacks from pure meat (chicken, lamb, beef etc) she eats in a few second!
