In many shops you can buy special repair kits (although, in holland you can) lot of choise between colours. Many different materials also, from brown pencils, to special wood gummy.. Our Chafuko did the same as a puppy, he chewed on our little table. Only on that little table (amost everyting else is wood) we just said very loud "chafuko No!" After a little while he just stopped.

Alright, thanks. I'll give the diatomaceous earth a try, as I don't see chickens in my future any time soon! :)

Keep a spare key hidden outside somewhere for those instances when you lock yourself out. They make key holders that look like rocks.

I think in AKC they have to be 7 yrs old. In CKC they have a pee wee class where it's even younger, 4 yrs. And in UKC they can be 2! lol And I think in the youngest ones they can have an "assistant" handler. :) I know I've seen Laurie Soutar going around the ring with her granddaughter in UKC. She has Lakilanni Greyhounds and are regulars at the lure trials. PS, that's for juniors. I think for the breed ring there is no age stipulation as long as they are in control of the dog. Kathy?

It most likely is (sort of) If you are in sections of the country where there are a lot of Portuguese - many of them had dogs sent over or brought over with them from Portugal to use in rabbit hunting. The older hunting pack goes back to the late 1890's. They do not register them and it is unclear if the lines have remained pure or if they have included other hunt pack dogs. I have trying to establish some contacts within the hunt community but at this point - we have to focus on making sure the documented dogs are placed where they are safe and can continue with the breed. Much as a basenji - they are not for everyone. It appears that the middle size may be the more problematic and I'm not too sure why. I will tell you - after having a barkless dog that it's hard to get used to any barking. She looks like a nice little dog - and is trained some - happy to provide information should your aunt choose to adopt her.

Rita Jean, That is so funny. I once had a bunny and it jumped into my daughter's parakeet cage…it looked bery confused and then jumped out again. Jess, what a beautiful bird. Are they good with children, do you know? My kids love birds, we have two zebrafinches and they make lovely noise, but that is about all they do.

Buana - They had a black lory?! Oooooh, I SO want one of those! Very, very rare and stunning! The ones in the picture are Rainbow Lorikeets, Swainsons from the look of it. I had a Rainbow, he was a green naped though, without the orange chest. tsjoe007 - your lovebirds are gorgeous! I had a pair of those years ago, really sweet birds. Lories are definately not for everyone, but i never found the squirty poos an issue - you just have to clean the cages daily! :D The less watery you make the door, the less squirty the poo's :)

Cats with thyroid problems are almost always HYPERthyroid (over active thyroid). Dogs are almost always HYPOthyroid (under active). I have no idea about the difficulties of HYPERthyroid, but I wish you luck.

Don't believe that is sleepwalking or dreams - at first it was cute, but as it went on it became apparent that dog is having some sort of seizure - I'd take the dog and the video to your vet.

Andrea, yes, I know…laugh. I just get tired of waking up thinking of these poor dogs and what they have to suffer. Hugs for all YOUR help with rescue.

@Duke: Beautiful! Though she sang in English, I wish I knew what the judges said too. Who was the lady in the audience - her mom? She looks so proud! Thanks for sharing - this was wonderful. Ok, the judges say something like this: Blond: crying because Lisa sang great and did a great version of this song and because this was the last performance.. and good for her she practiced her signature.. Because she will definitely has to sign a record deal.. other woman: her all time favorite song. She was scared Lisa couldn't sing it with real emotions.. but she did great.. male judge (coach for this week.. she had another judge as coach, but he's in Russia performing himself..): It's great for us judges to have discoved such a great talent. It's always great to listen to you. You gave me goose bumps and brought tears to my eyes.. he thinks it's not sensational, but sensationally sensational :D And yes, the woman in the audience is her mom.. In this video you can see how happy she was when her daughter won (video of Lisa singing after she won.. even better than the first time she sang it.. :D) [yt]190nmJ2Eh70[/yt]
