@dmcarty: I CAN tell you that SOMETIMES in SOME BREEDS - someone will use the dogs name if it's a well publicized call name just so the judge can here it. Most of us learn to tune that stuff out. I did have someone once use the entire name on the table "good dog kennel name first name rest of name" which was pretty stupid sounding and quite obvious - usually a LOOK is enough to stop it. Oh my how VERY gauche. :)

@Kebasmom: I got the info in the mail yesterday so I know the ring number and the time and my numbers, I just didn't know where to get the armband. Thanks a million. Sure hope I don't fall on my face!! Karen Don't worry, even if you do fall it isn't the end of the world. I fell flat on my butt during the final go around with my girl Rally, and she still got BOW for a 4 point major to finish that day.

@lvoss: If you can find a copy, I would recommend trying to get a hold of a copy of the Basenji Stacked and Moving by Robert Cole. They are no longer in print and can get quite expensive but every so often you can luck upon a copy that is reasonably priced. Nicky's tail unfurls fine but there are two permanent kinks in his tail. These kinks are small but do prevent the tail from looking natural if curled to the opposite side.

Thanks! Didn't get a picture taken at the show, the judge was anxious to go to lunch and we had stayed for the puppy match the day before until almost 8PM, so we didn't want to wait. Good Luck!! I think not having anyone else in the class might help with your reintroduction to the ring. You won't have to worry about being too close behind or having someone too close to you. You can just focus on your dog.
