I am interested in attending the event, but am not sure how Ginger will do with the other dogs. Do you have a time schedule of the various activities?

My beautiful girl Ginger is great with people, but dogs are another story. Big or small she growls at them all! She is about 6 years old, so she isn't a pup anymore. Does anyone have advice on steps I can take to make her more comfortable. I am also looking for an older dog socialization/training course in Seattle… :confused:

Ginger is approxiamately 5-6 years old and is a beautifull red and white lady! I have had Ginger for less than one week, but if you count all the days I visited her at the shelter, 3 weeks. I will post some pictures as soon as I can. Well, I am actaully off. I am going to take Ginger fo a walk in the beautiful woodland area of the Northwest. Take Care!

My name is Christine and I am the proud new owner of Ginger. I rescued her as she was trying to cross Highway 99 in Seattle, Washington and have fallen love with her. I dropped her off at the shelter nearby my house to see if she already had a family. After visiting her everyday and no one claiming her I finally got to take her home. Her release date was actually my birthday. I could not have had a better birthday gift! I am looking forward to having discussions with all of you, as I am sure I will have multiple questions. ;)
