My sweet little boy. Only hours after entering his new home, bolted out a door and met his end with an automobile. Today, my heart weeps an ocean of tears.

Yes it does. And the people that I had placed Bonkers and his brother Blitzz with Friday had owned Basenjis for 20 years. They were very responsible people who were experienced with the breed. But somehow the dog managed to blast past them through the door. They spent the entire night patrolling the area, spotting Bonkers several times but he was too confused and frightened to go to the people he had only known a few hours. This was a tragedy for both myself and the new owners. We are all still in shock about it. The remaining dog Blitzz has a bad case of seperation anxiety. I am concerned with how he will be now that his brother is gone. :(
