well actually I wouldn't mind at all , I must admit I dont like them from looks as much as I like the ibizan hound BUT I am in favour of helping preserving another endangered breed that is my cup of tea ;) and introduce the breed in this part of europe on shows and coursing/ racing track, but it is not wise to have another dog right now :(

@Terry: She did a great job! Finally, a way to slow a Pharoah down, lol! Almost as cute as seeing a Chinese Crested doing weight pull… Terry I once had a breeder show me min pin weight pulling at dog show (they had a special harness and cart) - couldn't believe it. It was pretty amusing.

Hachiko was a famous Akita immortalized for being supremely loyal to his owner, even after he died. I won't give away too much for fear of spoiling the story (though it's common lore amongst Japanese schoolchildren). There's a statue at the Shibuya station in Tokyo commemorating this faithful dog. I haven't seen the American version, but I did see the Japanese version a while back. I'm kind of a sucker for animal movies, and the Japanese tend to churn out some rather amusing ones (Milo & Otis, anyone?). Kind of lukewarm about this one, though.

I wish It had an English version, i sent them an email to do that in future time. i think that through Google translator, you could succeed in understanding the general idea. It has many historical facts and results of some archaeological researches… I use the google translator for many sites in other lgs: http://translate.google.com/translate_t?langpair=en|ja#en|el|i%20love%20my%20dog
