Rats against Landmines

Off Topic
  • Hej,

today I have seen a documentation about the work of giant rats. They are trained to detect landmines and (among other things) Tuberculosis.

I think this is a great work they are doing and maybe it helps a little, if the work of this organization has the chance to be known by many people.

@kembe - Very True Kembe, here is a link on looking for a responsible breeder. https://bconc.org/finding-breeders-red-flags There are many scammers out there, don't fall for one.. or a person that is not a responsible breeder.

@Kembe, nice post! We've gone to solid food chopped up in a food processor, but we're grinding it a bit more course as we go. So far, no puppies are choking, but good to know!

I thought he is probably PB but with different tri markings. I posted him in the Rescue section. Do you know if he was a stray or an owner surrender? Would the rescue group ship him? I think it is too hot now to ship though. My Bowie will bark from time to time, more like a woof though and he especially does it when he sees a squirrel up a tree. I think he is telling them to come down! He will only bark/woof a few times in a row. I will usually tell him "no bark". Here are two sites with pictures of capped tris and he looks like them: http://www.basenji.org/african/will9403.htm http://www.basenji.org/african/P_Lady.htm Jennifer
