    No not another B..

    I'm now 2 months pregnant! :cool:
    We always wanted children but we wanted to have a good and steady home.
    So after a few times trying, a test was positive!!!!:p

    We're so happy and looking forward to it.

    Al of our family members are saying, ahhhhh The doggies getting a little brother or sister!!!! or Baby number 5!!! (doggies and cat)

    I've read a lot about it and it's very important to us that the dogs know they're our first baby's and that it's nice to have a brother or sister. So we learned we to involve the dogs with everyting.

    It seems they already feel someting, maybe it's weird to say but Buana wants to lie on my tummy and put his head next to were the baby lies.
    (i grew 8cm already :eek:)
    Buana is not a B, that lies always on our lap but since a few weeks.. the whole evening he lies with me and looks at me like he wants to say "ooow I love you"

    So, the dog people (they call us like that) are getting a humanpuppy :D

    At 16 March, we get an echography to look how far I really am and how many their are (kas his father is a twin, also my grandmothers sisters are twins)
    So it's exciting!

    @JENGOSMonkey I WAS THERE FOR '89! I was a kid, but I remember the water coming out of the swimming pool in huge waves and everything falling from the shelves! I was actually born in San Jose, but moved around a lot later LOL I hear the wildfires are more of a concern for you guys now? That's scarier than quakes for me...

    I cannot imagine committing to buy a puppy without seeing the animal and if possible the sire and dam. OTOH, a rescue (or adoption of an older dog) is a different thing. My last two Basenjis came to me sight unseen, and turned out to be wonderful dogs, but the breeders I got them from wanted to place their dogs in an experienced Basenji home, and I only paid the cost of getting the dogs to me. One came by air, one was personally transported to me by his breeder. If she hadn't been happy with what she found I expect she would have taken him back with her when she left. I also had to commit to return him if ever I couldn't keep him. Good breeders care about where their dogs end up.

    @kembe - Very True Kembe, here is a link on looking for a responsible breeder. https://bconc.org/finding-breeders-red-flags There are many scammers out there, don't fall for one.. or a person that is not a responsible breeder.

    We sure can give enough intelligibility like you said Mar, our Basenji's are very well behaved. (otherwise Buana wouln't be a approved service dog) We always had dogs and I worked wit lots of dogs, so I know how to have a dog. I think she just did not fit here, and that's really sad because we loved her so much. It's maybe because of her background, I don't know.. I'm very happy to know she is doing well, give her a big hug from all of us!
