• I would think they would, the Quiet Spot is a little nylon? pouch the tags slip into with velcro closures. I use them because the jingling drives me nuts, they have alot of tags.

  • Oh Michelle I like the tag website you gave us. I've been searching everywhere for a tag shaped like a football, since obviously Dallas was named after the Cowboys 😉 But haven't been able to find one & Dallas gets his rabies shot this Thurs so I may just have to order one of these for his new collar that will fit the letters you gave me as well 🙂 He's going to be a stylish pup. LOL.

  • These tags are a lot heavier than what most places sell but I am going to try them out for my dogs because the cheaper aluminum tags wear out too quickly and become unreadable.

how do you order on that site??

  • I think you have to find a store that sells them since they only take orders from stores but I have store right down the street from me that sells them. They are shipped to your home, just ordered at the store.

Here is an online store that sells them

  • Do you know how to find a store that sells them??

  • You can try the online store. I am not sure how you would find a local dealer since their website doesn't seem to have a search function though you could contact them directly.

  • clear nail polish?

  • Zip's main tag is from http://www.collartags.com. It's pretty heavy duty and I'm confident that it won't fall off. I got a lot of info to fit on there too. My only gripe is that I wish they took the measurement of the circumference of the dog's neck and made the tag bend accordingly. It doesn't quite follow the curve of her neck as well as I'd like. It is made to curve, but not enough. And there's NO way I'd ever be able to bend it further myself. It was like $8-$9. Stainless steel.

    clear nail polish?

good idea- i think i will try it!

  • Boomerang tags are very good quality.

I have the stainless steel, 4 lines on each side. They also have plastic, all have 100% guarantee, about $8 including shipping. We have been very satisfied with them. I even got one for myself, back when I was biking, with my name, docs name, etc and wore it around my neck, held a lot of info for $8 !

I use these also, best ones I've found, the stailess steel don't scratch like others do, when the others do you can't read what it says. The plastic ones are a good heavy duty and can be double sided. The hole for the ring is also reenforced so that part can't break

  • I use brass tags from Pettags.com They are about three inches long shaped like a bar. They fasten with brass brads to the collar; so they don't hang down at all. Each tag has our three phone #s (home and two cells). They have lasted for years since they don't bang against anything.

It makes me nervous when the tags are hanging down, as I have seen them get caught on crates, and water buckets, and each other's teeth. IMO, the most important thing for them to be wearing is a phone number where we can be reached, because anybody who finds them running loose is going to call first.

  • Quercus- having multiple numbers instead of an address is a good point.. i never really thought about it but i'm sure people would call, not actually bring the dog to your house.. i think i will be ordering some new tags..

  • i ordered from 2 new tags from Boomerang tags, thanks for the suggestions!

If you can find someone with a grinder, I think the bone tag could easily be modified to look like a football! Just grind the bone lobes down to a smooth arc, and voila - Football!

The petsmart in my area has brass tags that you buy and an in-store engraving machine. But the stainless steel may be a better option since the brass has been dented (and flared) a little on the side.

  • Hm never thought of that! Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂 I actually found a site that does engraved logos on their tags & so I could get a football engraved on the one side with his info on it. We'll see though!
