My Black and Whites

  • Here is my one favorite picture of my girl Rally's head and a pic of her handsome black and white son owned by my mom.

  • What beautiful B&W you have.

  • This is exactly why I love blacks so much…look at how flashy they are!!!

  • Thanks. I love how striking the contrast of the black and white is. Black and white is definately my favorite color but I love my red and whites also.

  • Oh I may be biased, but I love all Basenjis…color is just personal preference. If say I was a judge, I would pick the best dog/bitch no matter the color.

  • I can appreciate a good dog of any color. I know many people who do not really like black and whites. They can appreciate a good one but it wouldn't be their first choice color. I actually didn't attach the pic that I meant to on Friday, so I'll try again and see if I get the right one this time.

Zuri is such a fun loving girl. Her breeder had shown her in a couple of shows just before I got her. She is very outgoing and showy even in the backyard with my other dogs she seems to stand out.

Oh, they are absolutely adorable! Their coloring is so striking. I'm late to the party, but congrats to the Basenji and human mommies for their little bundles of joy!

-22 here with at least a foot of snow on the ground. Pretty soon we will be driving the Ski-doo around the yard making them paths to walk on. Poor guys go out there and come back in hopping on three feet (sometimes two). Sometimes I have to make the big rescue and go out there and pick them up. They come cruising thru the doggy door and straight to the wood stove to warm up. They better not need rescuing in a couple of weeks. I have to go for knee surgery and I don't think I can pack a dog while on crutches!!!

I get it. You know i think it could be because of the way the markings are on his muzzle they make it look narrower than it actually is. Becaise of the composition of black and white…. I kind of like the pointy muzzle....

Great pictures. The last one looks like they ate all the snow so they could have a little den snow-free. My B starts shivering when the temp goes below 60 F! Obviously B's raised in a northern climate are a tougher bunch.
