Thank you, Rhonda. We will try not to get our feelings hurt that she isn't ears-back, tail-wagging at us all the time!

wow! Uzie speaks volumes about how good are you with him :-) Vito has a sweet temper, amazing thing considering that a masting bite and broke his jaw when he was a puppy, now he is healed from that but get a little bend on the jaw but eats and has a good bite. I had a question about him, i brush well my brother brush him and get a ton of fur i brush my girls and get nothing.. seems like he has double or strong fur.. and is not like hers. im wondering what kind of fur basenjis has? double coated is possible?

Your boys are part of the reason I have basenjis! When I was researching the breed, I attended the Basenji Club of Northern California's Specialty Show and one of your boys spent nearly the entire show in my lap. After that day, I knew I would at some point bring home a basenji and the following spring, I did just that. Nicky, turned 14 years old this past December.

I agree across the board. DaysiefromBenin, my older dog (Ty) takes one sniff of a cooked egg and he's out the dog door puking. The smell alone puts him over the edge. Both mine have occasional ETS if they snarf all their food early morning. I use a cheese slice on a cracker and that stops the tummy grumble and tendency to vomit. (Tyler's tummy can sometimes be heard from over 5 feet away)
