  • The More I see Pictures of the Basenji's I can not wait for my little girl to come home

  • I always love to look at your photos. They show such a story. Little Enya sure is growing up. They all get along so well, especially with other dogs they come into contact with.

  • Enya is a beautiful girl - the face-on picture is really beautiful - she has such an innocent look in her eyes - but we all know there's much more mischief than innocence in our girls!

  • Enya is turning into such a little lady :)

I adore the picture of Chaffie worshiping the sun. You really take great pictures of your gang.

  • Thank you so much, Enya is sure growing so fast!
She really isn't that cute puppie she was before… she is now an elegant lady that wants to be seen and hug by everyone she meets :D

  • The pack looks complete now with the beautiful Enya.

  • Wonderful photos, as usual! And Enya is quite a young lady now. Love Ryan's little yellow boots. All the dogs look very happy, you give your kids a great life.

  • Love the pictures, question for you though, looking to get Oakley a hurtta harness, I see you use both the regular harness an I see Enya has a Y harness… Which do you prefer and what do you find the difference is? I currently use a martingale for Oakley but it hasn't curbed his "head down" "cart pulling" as I describe it... Your advice is appreciated

  • Oakley is 15 months and I use a martingale collar but no matter howuch training he still seems to "cart pull" as I call it, his head goes down and he digs in to pull, I'm looking into getting a hurtta harness but don't know which is better for pulling- the Y harness or the regular one I see Chaffie wearing

she went from being a fussy puppy to being a puppy that just wants and loves food. if you have food she will do any trick you ask her with 110% enthusiasam if it means shes gettin food lol but i am glad shes not a fussy girl! We are waiting to hear back from the breeder to see what pups are reserved and which arent. Very excited. Hope gets to play with a chinese crested at work and she also plays with another two iggies down at the small breed social i run every fortnight, she seems to know that she has to be careful with the smaller dogs :) shes not much into wrestling with others, more or less just wants to run run run! i will have to upload a video of her and yoshi (the chinese crested) playing at work (the most ive seen her play! as usually its just tag, now chase me!) and will post the link here. So funny and cute. will post iggie baby photos once a decision's made :) EDIT: Video link to them playing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDTjuz_tNpM

@McCannClan: What an adorable girl! I love those wrinkles and she actually poses for you. I cannot get my new girl to sit still long enough for that… I think Faro is a bad influence on her. Your Athena is beautiful. Hoping you have many fun filled loving days with her. Thank you! It amazes me. She always sits still or stops moving when I'm pointing my camera/phone at her. It's like she knows. Every day since I got her has been fun! @DebraDownSouth: What a cutie! In a couple, it shows the white of one eye and I was going to ask if she has a "lazy eye", but then I looked back at the baby ones… nope, just your camera angle and her looking at you a bit from side. Cara has an absolute lazy eye, btw.. so you know why I was looking! I envy you that cute baby stage. OMG wouldn't it be wonderful if you could keep them like that. Give that wrinkly face a kiss for me. Sigh. Thank you! At times it does look like she has a slight lazy eye but mostly it's the camera angle and the way her head is. Don't worry, I give her many hugs & kisses everyday! this is my favorite picture I've taken thus far. [image: IMG00470-20110329-2131.jpg]

@Mantis: How old is she? Tell us more about her. She is so cute! When we got her (late Oct 2006) the vet thought she was 9-12 mos based on teeth. Over the months she has been getting more spots on her belly. Dont know if that gives any sign of age or not. She seems smaller than some of the Basenjis on this site. She is very thin and muscular. Is there a difference between sizes Male vs females? Could she have been a runt?
