About 2 or so months ago, I swapped all the dogs onto a 'new' food, one that I had fed the ACD's with really good results, in the past.
Unfortunately I dont think this food is good for/compatible with the B's at all. Our weather has been a little warmer than expected this winter, but most of the dogs coats are absolutely revolting … After watching the dogs start to moult, I at first put it down to the strange weather, but now these guys are getting a furminator all over their body's, daily, with Saba and Java having lots of undercoat, horrible dead coat coming out... I just cant seem to get the horrible dead stuff out of Java's coat, AND, we have our 3 biggest shows coming up in the next month or so ...
I cant and wont show him like he is at the moment, its too much of an insult to the judges, (and embarassing to me), and I was hoping to make a decision on which boy is staying, partly with these shows results in mind...
At the moment they are all on a dry food that they have previously done well on in the past, as the am meal. Then their evening meal is either bones of all descriptions, or the dry with some of the following added:- sardines, plain yoghurt, minced chicken carcus, goats milk, leftovers etc, etc. Added to that they have Fish Oil capsule every night and a Vitamin E 3-4 days a week as well...
Ok so now to my question ... Has anyone got any helpful hints to help get their coats back into a decent state so I can show them at the shows coming up ???
Oh I should also add, when they are outside they have 1 possibly 2 coats on all the time, (yes I know... They are my little precious babies :p eek:)...
