Blaze is deteriorating fast. He hasn't eaten his food since Saturday. Saturday night, husband and I went to a birthday party. We came home to the hugest mess of pee, poo, and puke everywhere. Blaze was disorientated, confused, and scared.
We cleaned it up and went to bed. He didn't want to come to bed, so we let him stay by the fire.
At 3, he came up and woke us up. I came downstairs, let him out and cleaned up the three P's again.
At 8, husband let him out and cleaned up the three P's.
At 9, I let him out and cleaned up the three P's.
He was lethargic and slept all day.
He came to bed with us, and we were up at 3 to go pee.
He didnt go pee at 8, and was put in his kennel.
I came home and let him out. He had no balance, but went pee and poo.
I left him in front of the fire, with a blanket, and was gone an hour.
I came home to howling. I couldn't find him anywhere. His blanket was in the front hall, the couch was moved, a speaker was knocked over… I finally found him stuck behind the TV, covered in the three P's. I cleaned him up, offered two treats, he laid on his bed, on his side and slowly chewed on, but didn't have the energy to eat the other one. He just held it there, an orange carrot shaped treat sticking out of his mouth.
Currently, he walks from his bed, to his water, drinks, then to the front door, where he tries to walk through the closed door, to the bathroom, where he tries to get between the wall and the toilet, back to his water, then a trip around the couch, then back to bed. If he goes outside, he squirts orangish-pee, and greenish poop juice. He's continually going in circles to the right and is always stumbling or falling.
We have a vet appointment for 5:15 tomorrow, but at 16, I think this is it.
He's getting some good food tonight, chicken and rice. I hope he eats it, I'll be hand feeding him. It's boiling hot in here with the fire on, but he seems content.
I don't know what more I can do. I've had him for over half my life, shouldn't I be able to do more?
