The sire's not tested and not likely to get tested. But he could either be clear or a carrier. I've just arranged to get Trouper (Chance's brother) tested too so that would give a better indication of what the sire is.
Now I've just got to find a good Clear dog to use at stud on Nakura.

carrier x clear = 50% carrier 50% clear
clear x clear = 100% clear
affected x affected = 100% affected
affected x clear = 100% carrier
affected x carrier = 50 % affected 50 % carrier
carrier x carrier = 50% carrier 25 % affected 25 % clear

theoritically ofcourse in a clear x carrier mating in practice can give you all carriers or all clears, but with these % you know your chances ;)

Chance is Nakura's son so can't use him! The search continues. We need to encourage more people to test are there are only about 6 clear stud dogs in UK at moment. So not much too choose from there!!
