@jkent Yes - The rest of Europe and all of USA uses OFA, the Russians use Zoogen and in Australia it is Orivet. This is a totally new testing agency I have never heard of.

However, your dog's parents are both clear by parents anyway so I have accepted these certificates.

Interesting that the UK might have its own OFA equivalent - But I am continuing to use OFA when I get Kito checked !

I am very happy with the breeder we have chosen she has been so helpful and I can see she is well thought of in the community.

We are now down to 2 names (we think, 6 year old changes her mind every 5 minutes lol). Gizmo (front runner) and Fox.

Well on Friday night at 12:30am, after a long journey, our Gizmo arrived home.

He has settled in like a dream. The first 24 hours have been great. He's great with my 6 year old daughter, walking nicely (was pulling a lot at first) and no messes in the house.

I was worried how he would do in his create at night after all his naps being on the hooman cushions. But after a little time of whimpering he's slept well too.

He is super cute, but do register him with the Kennel Club - same applies to everyone who is importing a Basenji puppy into UK. Doesn't matter if you never intend to breed or to show - all dogs should be registered. Go to the KC website and follow instructions.
