Thanks everyone for the encouraging words! Yes Rescuing is the best option. Sure it is a no kill shelter but it makes room for new dogs to be rescued and it puts her in a wonderful home! She is SLOWLY coming along. She likes to try to come up in my lap now. Shes a wonderful lil dog and Anubis LOVES having someone his size around. She "Smiles" she will get excited and show all of her teeth and wag her tail…I try to get pics but she always gets scared of the camera.

Yeah lol…he had opened his eyes when I went to take his pic lol...he's so goofy. Basenji's have the most entertaining ways to sleep. His new favorite place is under the bed partially haha

Cody likes to sleep under the bed too, especially in the winter since my bed is placed over the heating vent. It's nice and toasty under there
