Thank you all for your nice words
Ryan and the boys are so adorable together, if I got a camera with me all day I can make pictures all day long.
Before he was born we were hoping he would love animals as much as we do but didn't want to force anything. But he does, it's in his blood and animals are so important for him :). And he just knows how to "be" with them.
If we have company from other kids that aren't so much in love with animals as Ryan, they are so different. They like the animals but they don't care for stepping their tail or pulling their ears.. Ryan does and I looks like that is natural behavior for Ryan (he always have respect from the moment he was born)
But also our basenji boys are so crazy about kids, last weekend we had some visiors with two kids. One boy with the same age of Ryan and one baby from three months old.
They came in and wanted to smell the little guy and wanted to care for him (lick his nose etc.) Chaffie kept sitting next to him, resting a bit and once in a while he looking inside and gave him a kiss at his little hand.. so sweet
@curlytails:
Wait, there are all those toys on the blanket and the dogs have NOT run off with them to tear them all apart?! My, but they ARE well-behaved!
No! they never do this!
Ryan has a little rabbit, it's his favorite toy and he leaves it at the floor all the time. Sometimes he even is helping me with cleaning the house and he will put his rabbit next to the dog toys :D:D
Buana don't like playing with toys, he rather plays with our hand and chases us and Chaffie as a game.
Chaffie likes to play with toys but only kills tennis ballsβ¦
In the last three years, only 2 or 3 toys were killed (stuffing out of the toy only)
But Chaffie almost barks so he could be another breed :D:D:D
