  • @irena:

I have no idea, I didn't ask Marcel about that . But it didn't seem as new injury.

No it doesn't look new does it!! He maybe caught it on something!!

  • Hello,

    @ irena
Thanks for the pictures. It's great that you made them. And I know how much work it is, because I did the same at some specialties in Germany.

    @ basi
We have a lot of ticks in our area. After every time going for a walk, I find some of them. unfortunately two weeks ago a missed one. So Liina and Jaro tried to get it, when I was not looking. They picked a lot of coat. But the tick was still in Jaro's flesh when I noticed. The coat is growing again. I can see some hair. But I think it will needs another month to grow back to normal.

I am really glad how Jaro behaved in the ring. He is a very relaxed and lazy boy. And he was very tiered after the long trip. At the last pictures you can see that he was groggy. But he gave his best to the end.

Today he has been a couch potatoe for almost the whole day.

    Regards,
    Marcel

  • Welcome to the forum Marcel and congrats on Jaro's win!! Great job!

  • congrats on BOB puppy! is that a Jensons grandkid?
sorry to hear from the boys, **** happens, but I understand it is very frustrating to get a VG for squeling, especially when two agressive dogs got an exc :-(

Yes it is Jenson's granddaughter :D.
Actually I don't know why he got VG, he had nice judgement and there weren't written nothing so bad…..

  • Finished :D
Wonderful - thank you! A good way to close the day ;)
    Have to take a 2nd look tomorrow…

whooppieeee it means to me that Jenson really inherited very very very well!! I am very pleased with that, means he is worthy as a stud!

I hate critiques like that, sometimes it really makes no sense :-(

re: "A sanctioned match is important though, I believe new clubs must hold a certain amount of matches in a certain time frame before they're allowed to hold regular dog shows. Sorta like a trial run to make sure the club can do everything needed to run the event and take care of paperwork appropriately. Also already established clubs will hold matches in the evening after the show, and I have a feeling they are a good money maker for the club since they already have all the equipment and everything taken care of for the weekend." This is partly true - a club however in order to maintain it's status as a show giving club has to complete a certain number of components in a given year - a match can be one of them. Do some do it for money - maybe - but I'll tell you from experience that at the end of a show - about the last thing a show giving club is thinking about it's doing more work! we're typically too tired!!!!! In any event a match is good practice for the dogs, the judges and a great way to get your feet wet. You will have a blast.

He has a good hand with dog?s and is extremely knowledgeble he with several of the swedish kennel club have put their foot down when it comes to breeds that have gone to far like the Basset Hound,Mastino Napoletano etc… So our judges have now gotten order not to award these extreme bred dog?s so that the breeders will start to breed back to more sound looking dog?s.So far we have avoided any silly trends with the Basenji although a whippet kinda dog has been trying to emerge in to the show circuit hopefully that won?t be a success. One dog that I really like she has such a basenji expression is Fula Of The Congo dead but not forgotten:)

Ok on the 18th is Myrans debute puppy class in a KC show everything has gone so far by the plan he´s very good when I stack him can stand still for ages.Gaiting is well ok as long as I don´t run too fast yes folks I run hurts but hey i´m stubborn. But is it because he´s still young (8 months)that he starts plowing when I go too fast and when I slow down the trot looks good according to onlookers??
