I've been mulling names over and I think I have 3-although I really like some of the other ones. I've decided on a 'black' theme;DH Man in Black A Bluestones
DH Black Gold A Bluestones (the tri)
DH Black Knight A Bluestones
Dh Back in Black A Bluestones

Why the 'A Bluestones' instead of 'at', 'over' 'of' 'by' etc Bluestones?

I'm curious why Bluestones will be in the registered names. Is Scott co-breeder on the litter?

I'm not sure I will put it in at all, but I'm sure Scott would like at least his with his suffix. No, he's not co-breeder at all. I'm just playing with it.
As for 'A Bluestones', 'A' does mean 'of' just a shorter way of putting it.
It could also end up being
Dogo's Man in Black. I don't necessarily think it needs my full kennel name either. -

Arlene, I am curious why do you shorten your kennel name to Dogo instead of Habari? Dogo seems to be more commonly used in our breed, with 22 dogs other than your litter having it in their name and at least 1 born just last year. There are only 2 dogs with Habari in their names.

They are darling, and it is cool to see the names kicking around. I love Black Gold for the Tri so much. Thanks for the lesson on the 'A'.

If we are voting ;), I vote for Habari too! Sounds more appropriate for an African breed :)

It actually means 'little event' in one of the translations. If I put in Dogo Habari, it just seems too long. I'll play with it though.

Sounds like you already have great names for your little guys. And here I was going to suggest Ace, Gene, Peter and Paul…Since KISS always used black and white makeup...:D

Now, we should have come up with this sooner! But I think I like the names I've chosen-except for Black Knight-I may change that one. If I'm not putting in Bluestones, I should be able to put my full kennel name. When I think of Dogo, I think of the Argentino as well. It'll either be Habari, as Lisa suggested, or Dogo Habari from now on for me. Thanks guys!
Here are links to two new videos. One puppy is up to about 26 oz the rest are hovering around 22-23 oz. They've morphed from hippos into little elephants! None of their eyes are opened yet, so what you see is weebils crashing into each other with a nose for Mama's milk!
