Welcome, and congrats on your Pono! I looked at Eldorado Basenjis before and all of their babies are BEAUTIFUL. Can't wait to see more pics. :D Good luck!
Thanks for the welcome, guys! I'm really excited, need to start getting the house puppy-proofed!
No way, Pat! Thank you for letting me know!!! I'm sure Terri has been super busy taking care of all the newborns and everything, but I'm really happy to know they've arrived! Can't wait to see them all! :) :) :)
Glad you found us!

Everyone meet Klassic's Trixie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We drove the 3.5 hours from Pittsburgh to pick up Trixie from Sue (Klassic Basenji's in Marion, OH). It was a very long day with 7 hours of driving to and from, but the ride home was much better than the ride there, except for the part where Trixie peed on my friend that went with me to pick her up! Trixie seems to be adjusting well so far, we are about 50/50 with going potty outside. Trying to learn her body language as to when she needs to go out! She is a stubborn thing on the leash and that will need much work as well! So happy to have her here! She loves our kitty Pinkie, and our miniature pinscher, Zombie. Zombie is more interested in stealing the puppies belonging's and claiming them for her own.

Hi Abe!
Great blog! Morris is such a cutie! :) I look forward to hearing all about your adventures! My Hooligan is your Morris's brother - so with you, me and Moth we have a little family here! :)
Looks like you will have your hands full! The video made me chuckle, especially how quickly it happened and how the pup looked excited to make it to the sofa!
Hi there :)
Morris is from the same litter as Hooligan and our Watson.
Nice to know that all three brothers are here on the forum.
@Abe:
Hello!
I have just been watching these forums for the last couple months, but when i saw this post i needed to speak. Hooligan was great; i met him not to long ag. I also got a Basenji from Laura Mae Hesse, My B's name is Morris; i got him a couple months ago from her. He is also almost 2 (turns 2 Thursday!) Laura was very helpful and informative and same with these forums. My experience with Morris so far is, he will chew on anything; wont eat it but just likes to chew on stuff. I have no health problems with him either. All in all i say go for it and get him, his is a beautiful dog, i have had no regrets.
I love it when I read posts like yours, knowing that we have another convert to B Lovers Internatioinal. We adopted our first little girl almost 5 years ago and can't seem to get enough, adopting 2 more boys in the last 3 years. We love sitting on the back deck and watching them race around the yard only to have them run back and flop on the deck at out feet, grinning from ear to ear. Do we love B's?, you bet we do.
Yes, she is beautiful, but if you look real close in her eyes…..! She's thinking....! Glad you found her, and yes, laughter is never ending daily, no matter how you really feel about the torn, broken, shredded,......!
Welcome and enjoy! Hope you have both read up on what to expect. There are some owners real close to you and I'm about 60 miles West in Amherst. Been around them for 30 yaers and ought to know better but keep getting a new one.
Dave

(With apologies to Johnny Tillotson…sorry, blame the mugging ;-))
Or even The Big Bopper - Johnny Tillotson was 'Poetry in Motion' - which definitely describes a Basenji…
