Basenji Found in Tolland CT
Basenji found in Tolland, CT about a half hour ago by my dad no chip or tags. My father is an ACO, I hope we can find the owner asap, spread the word, I will post everywhere I can. Its a red and white male, very friendly. call my cell at 860 416 5078 if you know someone who lost a basenji in CT earlier today.

amber in a hoody , big snow storm in washington dc last year, record snow fall….she doesnt look happy about being in the hoody
amber loves being under the covers
funny look on zaars face, this is an amazing place in west hartford , ct called elizabeth park
and the last one is zaar in his fav spot, they love the sun that comes shining thru this window, sometimes they fight for position ontop of this couch and end up snuggling together up there

RE: HELP ~ What to do?
Very sad to read that. Really sorry about your loss. Was it an older Basenji?
she said in a earlier post her dog was 8 yrs old.
im very sorry for your loss, i lost my jack russell last year to cancer at 12 yrs old (my father had my dogs mother and the mom lived to 15) , best dog ever. and it hurts so much, make a collage of all her pics and like someone else said just wish she was with u. was the worst day of my life i had her from 8th grade till i was 26. she wasnt a family dog , she was mine and i paid all her bills. i was and still am devastated 3 yrs later. so unexpected reading your update i felt my heart drop into my stomache i feel so sad . once again im sorry and take care of yourself.

RE: Successful doggie park day
my dad is a dog trainer and has socialization classes, so my dogs are pretty good with any dog any size, especially my tri B. id suggest not leaving when the big dogs come, let your dog get used to them. just keep a close eye on your dog when he/she gets close to the bigger dogs and possibly throw a leash on your dog and let him run with leash on in case of too much growling u can grab your dog easily and eventually u shouldnt have to use the leash your dog will get used to the bigger dogs.
