We are definitely going to have Stella tested. I know the earlier the better. I must say, it is obvious that the people on this forum truly love this breed.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Stella is from Dee's Basenjis in Beeville,Texas. She attended her first puppy training class Sunday. I couldn't believe she wasn't the worst behaved pup there. We had a basenji once before. She lived 14 years as a little princess! You all know how that is, I am sure. It's been almost 2 years since she left us, so we thought we were ready for another dog. We looked at several breeds, but we always came back to a basenji. I guess once they have your heart, they always have your heart. Thanks again for the welcome and I will work on getting those pics up.

Hi, from a newbie here in San Antonio,Texas. Our new little girl is named Stella.
