RE: What does your B do all day?
Taariq usually sleeps or takes a nap on the couch until I take him out for a walk to the dog park around 9 where he meets his pals. When we get home, he gets breakfast (he has recently developed a habit of not eating before our walk).
After that, until 3, he enjoys curling up on the couch for a nap, playing with his toys (pulling the stuffing out of cuddly - baby-safe - toys is a favourite), chewing on rawhide bones, and checking on me. Then he's coming to tell me it's time for another walk to the dog park in order to meet his other pack of friends. We stay there an hour, sometimes longer.
When my partner comes home, and we prepare dinner, he plays happily with his toys or watches us in the kitchen, hoping we'd drop some food. After his dinner at around 7, he likes to chew on some bone or greenie toothbrush, and has a final burst of energy after his late walk around 10. That's the time we teach him new tricks. And that's pretty much it.

RE: Cloven paws
They're indeed connected, Jill. I wonder if the paws' look depends on what bloodlines they come from?

Hi from Taariq in Sweden!
Hi all!
I'm a new B owner, live in Stockholm/Sweden and have had Taariq for three months now. Previously, I've had cats, and I've heard that cat owners make good B owners.
Taariq is eight months old now, brindle, and to 67% of the Avongara bloodline. He's soft and gentle and very smart (of course, as his mum, I think he's extremely clever! LOL), would do anything for treats (if he thinks the treat's tasty enough, of course), and loves playing in the dog park with his pals Alice (tri-color and Sigge (a chocolate lab).
Here's a recent family portrait of my partner, me and Taariq (the poser ).

RE: Cloven paws
gently directing this back to the topic again
Here's a pic of one of Taariq's paws (photoshopped). You can clearly see they're cloven, and all four paws look like that.

RE: Avongara Jini of Brushy Run with puppies
Nice to find this forum!
Here's a pic of one of this litter's pups, now near 8 months old. Our darling Taariq.
Taariq loves playing in the sandbox.
Catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror.
