We look at Jaycee like when our daughter started to crawl and got into everthing. I can only hope for Jaycee as our daughter is eighteen and still getting into things.

Elisabeth, bravo pour votre français, c'est très gentil d'avoir fait ce geste! I actually managed to let my dog alone in the flat for a full 15 minutes (needed to do it beacuse I had to move a piece of furniture and had to take her car crate out) and…no problem! She sleeps with me most times but since she's had her DAP collar on again, she sleeps on her own in her basket and comes and see me in the morning. It is a good new start. Will take her out for an extra long walk today as it has stopped raining! Thanks for all your advice, et merci!

Mick woofed for the first time last week. We had our front door open and he heard our neighbors outside talking. He stood up on the edge of the sofa and let out a grumble then 3 distinct WOOFS. 😃 We were like "what the heck was that?" Then we laughed our heads off. It was so cute. I wish he would do it again.

So perhaps he wasn't shredding his bedding because he was stressed. He was probably shredding it because it's fun! 🆒

Apparently, it is fun! Mine doesn't take the bedding out the door of the crate, she prefers to pull it through the wires and drags the crate halfway across the room. I'm picking my battles with her as she has had a rough life.
When I say "No.." my girl gives me that wrinkled forehead look as if to say, "whatever…" and goes off to find something else that is entertaining.

Jack sits like that on the stairs too!

Jack has a couple of places that he has claimed. Top of the couch, center cushion of the couch, under the dining room table, on DHs pillow (when he isn't around). Every once in a while he tries to test me by sitting in my spot on the couch, and he gets a little growly and snarky, so I poke him a little bit until he decides to move on his own 🙂

Thank you all for your comments, went away for a few days on a beach a few hours away from home, and took photos;will have to learn to put them on the forum now. By tomorrow, some of mon petit monstre sera sur le forum. She loved the beach and spent hours playing and looking at the sea. What energy!! I was exhausted but she kept going and then fall asleep suddenly, not wanting to leave the soft sand bed. A real pleasure to have so much space and time to play!
