I would take her in a heartbeat if I had room.. unfortunately I'm pushing my limits with my father already, as I've saved a few cats while living with him again. She sounds like a wonderful dog. I have no doubt that the bites were provoked. Dogs, especially Basenjis, can be very sensitive. If you don't understand that you're dealing with an animal that has feelings too, you're in trouble. I will keep her in my prayers. May she find the best fur-ever home!

Patty is a 4 year old black and white Basenji mix. She is spayed, house trained, current on all shots, heart worm meds and flea control. I adopted Patty and although I think she is the best, I'm not around enough to give her all the loving attention she needs! I would love to find her a home with an energetic owner who runs or walks at least once a day. She is very good on walks with her doggy backpack and obeys sit, paw, heel and stay. Adopt Patty! Patty has recently been adopted and is now living on a farm in AZ.
