:) Hi everyone,
I have been looking around to find out some more information on this wonderful breed. I fell in love with My little Abby last Sept. and she has since made a great place for herself in my life. This has been a very comfortable place to learn and hear about other Basenjis and owners.
We live in North Dakota, can't wait for SUMMER!!

Mimie is my Mother's Japanese Chin she is also a little over a year same as Abby. The two love to play for hours.

My daughter just loves to cuddle up with Abby. Here is Mimie a bit closer, she is a good girl even if she is a bit mouthy. :rolleyes:

Are they sometimes called japanese spaniels? Many many years ago we took in 2 strays, my mom this time, found wandering. The female was pregnant but I remember the vet saying they were Japanese spaniels and they looked much like chin except the legs were shorter I think.

Welcome from AL Abbey (a B&W 6 years old). We don't see many Japanese Chins around here but there was one at the dog park the other day.
