She is doing WAYYY better but not fully healed. I want to go trail walking with her again since it's been snowing here lately but I don't want to stress her out. She surprising likes the snow.. preferably with a jacket. I am working on getting her snow booties make it even more fun for her!

@agilebasenji: hmmm, soaking little basenji toes in salty water. good luck with that. glad he's feeling better though. I also had the same thought. It's always been a huge struggle for me to rinse off Duke and Daisy's muddy feet in a bowl of water (usually in spring from snow melt). Would appreciate knowing how you and Chance do it. ;)

I use tea tree oil on everything. Its the "anti Basenji" tool in our house. Alex will tease me all the time. I apply it to anything I don't want the dogs to lick off. Paws, an insect bite I don't want them to lick, a rash, etc. Its also a great antiseptic and helps the healing process too. I just love it!!!!

We have this discussion every few years. Some have the connected toe pads, some don't. As for international one... you'd need to touch bases with the people involved in bringing them and maybe Dr. Jo.
