We got our wonderful basenji who just turned 1 in Dec from Khanis basenjis in SE Portland. She does allow you to go visit and see the dogs and ask any questions. Last year we got to play with about 15 puppies it was great
She does show her dogs so her reply may not always be quick

It doesnt have to be in BC I would pay for shipping I would also drive about 12 hrs as well I have looked in the US as well by my only concern with going to the US Driving is I don't want to have to pay Duty when I come back with the puppy.

What about Terrarust Basenjis - aren't they in BC?
My boy Brando (born in Finland) is co-owned by Terrarust and Eldorado. Member gneigum got 2 adult Bs (one is the father of my girl, Ruby) from Terrarust - you could ask him about them.

Deb Verzyl is also in BC (Orru Basenjis). You can go to the BCOC (Basenji Club of Canada) website to grab a couple of breeders in BC. They also list some of the breeders in Canada. If you need any more help, let us know.

Than you everyone I have contacted a few Breaders that I found on the BCOA and the BCOC, what I was looking for was more personal experiences from people that have delt with breeders, which ones are good and which ones to avoid.
Thank you for the information though.

Fopaws is great. I actually bred to one of their boys and since then we have become extended family. They are wonderful people with wonderful dogs!
