I'll try to get more pictures - my camera is old and he tends to come to me when he sees it so all the pictures end up blurry.
And I'm still waiting for the "two are easier than one" part 😉
How do you work on training one when the other sees treats being given out or take them for a walk when each wants to go a different (opposite) way? Oh wait, it is easy when they are napping 😃
New swimming adventures!

Amazing Pics Between the facials and the captions it looks like a "great" time was had by all. Save me mom really sums it up. LOL

Great pics!:D:D:D The "excuse me" pic with the pup raising her paw is too cute…great caption for the pic. :D:D

I think we are going to have to report you to the SPCA for excessive animal cruelty. Roxy, Cleo and Mojo will need to be interviewed, but the photographic evidence "says it all".
Seriously, those are hysterical photos, the paw raised is especially funny. If looks could kill….you would be severely wounded!

The first picture displayed enough frustration….

So cute! Great photos!

Oh they are sooo going to run amuck the next time you do agility with them.

Those are great pictures - hilarious! The one with the paw in the air looks like a cry for HELP!!! We're still strying to get ours to walk into the water on her own.

I love'em, Those are some great pics…poor dogs. I might have to do that to Otis. I was watering the yard yesterday and could not resist the temptation to soak him. It was so funny, for me, not for him..worth it though.

oh your poor B's! you cruel, evil mommy!
tho i would like to see how Zumi would respond to dock jumping as we go swimming all the time. He always jumps right into the lake or river whenever we go.Mojo's forward shot is one of my favorites! and i agree, if looks could kill you'd be hospitalized. when did you do dock jumping!

LOL Yes it was certainly an iteresting day. The water temp was ok. My kids have never been exposed to water before, except bathtime, so they were a little shell shocked. lol But Roxie was the only one who never really settled well yet. The others learned to relax and think pretty quickly. Of course they would still paddle at the wall for a bit hoping they didn't have to work any further.
Despite their pitiful faces, and killer looks, they actually were pretty good. First time around some of the participants/workers were picking them up and putting them in, and they didn't have a problem with that. And well it was already raining that day anyways. lol The next day I spent lots more time at the pool and just plopped them in myself because there was a lot more going on. They didn't pull any crazy Basenji antics. But I did keep them happy with a little lure course in between swims.
I'll have to try to find a lake or something to get them swimming more regularly. I heard quite a few people comment that their dogs loved water, but because of the clarity and height of the competition pools, that a lot of dogs will baulk for a while. I saw several sporting dogs who were apparently avid swimmers and some with pools at home even, but they were still not jumping in willingly. lol I figure maybe we're getting a jump start with the "harder" water?

Yeah, that's what I figure. lol I already have my knife and fork ready for some good old humble pie…

Well we haven't done any yet. lol This was just a first swimming lesson. And at home we've been working on building up drive for retrieving a special wubba toy that can go in the water. They're all retrieving at home pretty good, but Mojo and Cleo have already had some retrieval training.
