Kathy, I sure didn't mean to indicate it isn't a godsend or fantastic! Of course it is. I just meant… well as the Arabs say, Trust in G-d but tie your camel. Get the testing, use it to help guide breeding, retest if necessary, but keep doing the strip test. It's an easy if annoying process that protects your dog against testing errors or human errors.
How long to get Fanconi Test Results Back?
-
We just sent Bella's sample off for Fanconi testing. She was a rescue from a BYB who's parents are both AKC registered but not Fanconi tested.
Keeping our fingers crossed, and wondering how long it usually takes to get the results back.
-
Usually 3 to 4 wks
-
30 t0 60 days. Ours took longer than usual because of vacations and other things that were going on at the University of Mo.

When I sent my kit off, I got impatient to see how long it would take, so I went onto the website and contacted them with the number they'd given for the test. They e-mailed me right back with the link to the site results showing my dog was clear - if you don't hear in about 3 weeks, try that.

how long before i get the test appliyed for it yesterday!/

so it take 3-6 weeks to get it and then a week for the results?.!!

hopefully he's clear and i can get a blk&wht female to breed him!.

No, I meant it takes about a week to get the test and usually 2 to 3 weeks for the results once they are received back at the lab.
