i used to take pet portraits for people. Got pretty good at making unusual noises to get the dog's expression. With horses, an umbrella slowly opening works wonders! But dogs, like kids, get bored quickly. In my experience if you don't get "that" shot in the first minute or so, you won't. But some are real hams and love the camera! Basenjis generally are very photogenic. 🙂
A Day in the Life

What a good life Shelby has…These pics make me so happy to know I don't need to feel sorry for this one...Thanks for sharing - great pics!

Cute pics. Her coat is so shiny it almost hurts the eyes. Beautiful!! What are you feeding daily? Any supplements?

That last picture almost looks like she's in mid-run, just laying down. So precious.

LOL! I was going to say the same thing!

No supplements Just Brandon Farms puppy formula (and she loves baby carrots so maybe that helps haha). She's a little over a year now, so we need to get her off the puppy but she loves it. Everyone comments on her shiny coat when we are out with her.

Her day looks quite busy! She is very lovely, with her glossy black coat and very little white (a look I love!).

What a shiney b.
Thanks for the photos.
We should all be so lucky. -
Oh my Goodness, she is soooo beautiful!!! It looks like she has a TON of toys to play with, but just like a child… likes the cardboard box better, LOL!;)
