Like I said..this what I know..thus my opinion…I have never been told while living in Sweden for 19+yrs nor while visiting the other 20..not to eat raw cookie dough or orange julius or anything containing raw eggs, while here it is stated on every single thing that includes unpast. eggs...do not eat raw...it is known fact that eggs 6 weeks or younger does not need to be refrigerated yet ours here in the states are, why? Because electri,ity is abundant and so cheap?...baloney...I don't believe you can compare egg factories here with egg farms in Sweden. There are huge differences in how animals are allowed to be treated from country to country.. Yes all countries have issues, we have tons more because we are much larger here, granted ...
There is lots of info available on mixing foods pro and con..I was just saying according to my own experiences I know it is bad to mix raw food with processed or cooked...therefor I do the same for my dogs, serve them in different meals. It doesn't complicate mealtimes nor take more time...if it helps them in gaining the most out of their meal great, if it doesn't, oh well no sweat of my back. I am not going to go dig up a bunch of links...we can all google on our own time, I was merely trying to give the OP my opinion on raw feeding as I believed he was asking for it. -
I agree that there is a huge difference in how animals are treated, and no doubt they taste better.
And sorry, I truly did want to read if there was research, wasn't being snarky.
As for warnings, we are simply utterly warn crazy here due to litigation, not because so much more dangerous. People here complain about our medical and medication costs, but those costs directly link to our personal injury and suffering law suits.

Is it truly raw or cooked in various degrees and therefor still pink? Meat can look pink yet be fully cooked, like smoked meats or slowcooked at low temps..

Yeah its pretty much raw, as well as carpaccio and tons of other plates. And nobody gets anything!! you can get more from lettuce, so even less dangerous for dogs.. At least that's how I se it..

Dmey, you are right..you can eat raw meat or near raw meat and fish and catch nothing..but catch everything and anything from just lettuce, so sad. I think the reason you hear more about the veggies/fruit scares because it affects more people..meaning more people eat lettuce, tomatoes and other veggies in their daily diet (even if it is only on their burgers..) than they do the prime ribs, the carpaccio etc..and I also think it makes for better news…healthy veggies make you sick..raw meats is more acceptable to make you sick (to the public)..also, most of those things I would not consume unless at a top notch restaurant or prepared at home....although now I won't at all since I am a RAW vegan..hehe..but I do still like meat, it just doesn't like me

Ohh I agree definitely, I wouldn't eat it anywhere. Especially here now with colera lurking around!!!! I have a friend who is vegan.. I love vegetables, seriously, I love all vegetables but I don't think I could stop eating meat. And you know what is funny, is that with all this talk of meat, I realised that I have actually not eaten meat in at least a month!! Well other themn ham in a sandwich, but no meat or chicken.. I have been eating too much pasta!!

Only been feeding dry food for the last years, but moved to Sweden yesterday and this morning Voodoo caught and ate 2 lemmings, so guess we can start feeding raw again.
