Reading the story in the first link, I didn't look at the others after that, literally made me nauseous. It's hard to imagine a person could do that to any living creature and I hate the fact that animal abuse laws have not been updated and therefore do not give out as harsh of punishments as they should.

I am not sure if this girl is in a shelter or this is just a rescue organization but I saw her on petfinder this evening if anyone is interested. I sounds like she is in foster care but I have not called yet. I wasn't sure if someone from BRAT should call.

I will forward this to BRAT, but BRAT doesn't pay for dogs…if the shelter wants to release her to BRAT, I am sure they can help her.
