Lola's Results

  • We got Lola's results in the mail today…. drumroll please....

Lola is probably clear/normal for Fanconi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are still waiting on Booger's results.
Pat, do you have Liz's number? I think my little brother may have "cleaned up" the forms, as I can't find them anywhere! I'm trying to find out why we didn't get Booger's results yet.

  • WOOHOO!!!!

I can't remember if we can put phone numbers on this site (I know we can't for emails). Go to my profile and home page and email me privately and I will email it back to you…

  • Yaaaaaaaaay what a relief! I'm so happy for all of you.

  • We also just received results for our Tyson and he is probably clear/normal for Fanconi. His parents are Mojo and Cleo from Kiroja Basenji's. I was very happy to get these results!!

Yay!!! Congrats! I have to say this is an early Christmas present!

  • Hopefully you will get Booger's results in time for Christmas too.

  • Wonderful Christmas present!

  • That's terrific news for you and Lola! And yes, I was so excited to hear the news about Tyson from Jenny. I am very happy for her and Jeff! And that was even more sweet news for momma Cleo! :)

Happy holidays, that's for sure! Andrew, did you check the OFA site yet? Tyson's results were up the next day. Maybe your missing results are there? If not, definitely call Liz. Fingers crossed!

  • We checked the OFA site, and spoke with Liz who forwarded us to John Kirby. The test may have failed & they might be re-running it. John said he would call us if we needed to retest, so hurry up & wait some more!

It is coming back through your e-mail, as long as you are the one who registered your dog with the CPP site. For me the blood left europe june 23rd and I was surprised I got the results so soon, when I open my e-mails I thought the CPP was just telling me they got the blood in, then I think I almost fell out of my chair as the 1st result I saw was an affected, in the process I missed one and was two frightned to open the last one, the clear one was the last one, gave me a bit of rest to go back and notice that probably carrier was not a bad result. The thing is I didn't expected Thorn to be an affected, Eos I was a bit worried as well as for her and Thorns kids, Timbo and Vahli, a few people are saying her father died of fanconi. But I don't feel I am alone in this and I am sure of something, it is the last time I will ever get worried about getting a probably affected puppy, thanks to the test and people who made it happen.
