    this is the correct web page that has the gumby in waverly however gumby is a boy; we found our rescue on petfinder.com and she still cost us $200 from the warren county shelter. CarolAnn was very helpful in answering questions we had once we adopted Cammie. I would definitely considering driving up to CarolAnn's.

    Hi There,

    I live in Mid-Michigan and we are expecting our 2nd litter here in couple of weeks. We are not breeders but we have 3 basenjis, 1 is from our last litter. She is due within the next couple of weeks and they will be ready to go closer to the beginner of February.

    Where are you located? There are actually a lot of options. Sadly, as of late, not a lot of basenjis being posted to BRAT. There are other rescues, including a great rescue for basenjis in Florida and California. Also, if you can't find a suitable rescue, please consider young and adults from breeders that they have decided don't fit their breeding plan. They also need and make great pets.

    I think they're trying to look legit! Knowing that most "ethical" breeders ask a good amount for our dogs (course mind you we have a lot of money stuck into our dogs prior to the "sale" price). And the fact that we're not into dogs to make money.
