Gift Exchange: Winter Holidays 2008

  • Just a reminder, please send your packages to your gift buddies if you have not yet. It is important that this happens in a timely manner in order to continue having these gift exchanges.

This exchange works solely on the honor system. There is no way that the forum moderators or anyone else on this forum can enforce that people fulfill their promises to reciprocate an exchange of gifts with another member. If people sign up and don't meet their end of the bargain, it ruins it for everyone. So please make sure to fulfill your gift promise.

Those members who are still waiting please post the user name of your gift exchange buddy, so that they are aware that you have not gotten your package. The package might have been shipped out but it could have gotten lost in the mail, shipped from overseas or been shipped to the wrong address, it has happened in the previous exchange.

    Thank you,

  • My buddy was/is PhocoenaGirl. I hope she received my package to her!

  • After a really long wait, we finally got our overseas package last night. It must have gotten delayed at the customs.
    Pictures coming soon!

Pffieuw.. That's a relief!! Haha.. Hope you (and the B's) like the presents! Can't wait to see the pics :)

  • Here we go, toilet paper was the biggest hit. Zebra was dealt with first, I did not have time to get it captured on camera. Thank you so much, our Bs are happy with their gifts.

Maddox the cat, got to play with the box…

  • Great pics! Glad they enjoyed it!! :)

I loved the TP! Gave me a good laugh when I saw it.
I love the card too. Thanks for translating it. :D

Haha.. yeah.. all your stories about TP being found all through the house… I guessed they would like that :D :D

  • LOL! I love it, your B's got toilet paper, that is too funny!

  • I got my package on Monday!!! :) I haven't had time to update but Dallas loved all of his gifts!

He loved the loofa dog! He was carrying it all around the house with him Monday evening.

He & our family dog have been playing tug of war with the rope that he received.

Oh, and Tuesday he found the bag of milkbones on my dresser while I was at work…thankfully he didn't eat the plastic bag  The bones, obviously, are gone. Such a pig

sorry, Luzern, was the City. I always mix them up. My Granny did speak a little Schwizerdütsch but she was originally from Vienna and has learned it through the Years. She passed away more then 20 Years ago, but I still can remember the smell of Luzern and of special things around her. Regards, Esther
