LOL– your empty nest isn't staying empty at all! Hope the girls had fun at their sleepover. 🙂
We have great fun!
love the kitty and puppy photo.
Thanks for sharing.
Love the pics of the three of them together!
Too cute!
You are so lucky Robyn. The cat and the dog-together. Mine would just eat the cat!
She's really beautiful
At first it looks like the cat is eating the puppy, good thing you added the comment
I would like to get a cat but my pack says only if it is to be chase and end up as diner, so I will wait.
Singleton pups tend to be developmentally slower than litters but Ayla turned 3 weeks and still wasn't doing much of anything but sleeping and eating. I was starting to get a bit worried about her lack of interest in her surroundings. Yesterday afternoon she finally started to explore the inside of the puppy pen and a stuffed toy with a bit of interest. These pics were taken a few minutes ago of her adventures.
Ayla waking up
Looking cute but still sleepy
What's this weird thing?
Another odd thing?
Is it a sibling? Can I play with it?
Tired after her big adventure
Awww. She is so precious. Hopefully she will get her spunk soon!
Sooo cute! I love that hippo…where did you find it?
Very cute!!

I honestly don't remember. I have had it for several years and it has entertained several litters. I think it's cute too.
Another Awwwwwwwww from here. She is an adorable little girl. Looks like she was trying to show the hippo and the yellow toy that she is the alpha!

Ayla stacked at 4 weeks. I stack the pup then hold her head with my left hand while I snap the pic with my right. I do this with every litter until they reach a certain age when I need a helper.
Pretty girl
Ayla was walking around the living room and I took my eyes off of her for a couple minutes. I found her under the couch playing with a very unamused Tuk.
Tit for Cat, er Tat. Wasn't it Tuk amusing him (her) self with Ayla a week or two ago?
She is so cute Robyn, and quite the butterball too!
She just gets cuter and cuter. It is easy to forget how little they are until you see them next to something like a cat. Yes….Tuk's expression is priceless. It is so great to see how well Ayla is thriving.

She is such a little butterball! Absolutely adorable

No. Moxie is the one who likes to get into the puppy pen. This is Moxie with the "Something" litter. The two tris are Bindi and Sugar.
Tuk (The Unnamed Kitty) is this one
Moxie is such a sweet babysitter! From the expression on his face, Tuk is NOT going to be asked to babysit. I didn't know that TUK stood for "The Unnamed Kitty". Dumb me thought it was a variation of "Tuck"….as in Friar Tuck with Robin in the Sherwood Forest!!!

LOL! I never even thought about that! No, when I found that kitten, I did NOT want another cat. I had it set up where a local cat rescue group would take him once he was weaned. Once he was weaned they told me they wouldn't take him after all. I called every local cat rescue and none would take him. I didn't want to take him to the animal shelter. I tried and tried to give him away. Months passed and I refused to give him a name. I knew once I named him he was staying so I just called him The Unnamed Kitty. I finally admitted defeat and his name became TUK.
Gosh Robyn, what an ordeal you have been through. (I've been absent for a while, so I'm catching up.) Thank goodness Bindi and Ayla are doing so well. The puppies are all beautiful, naturally! The photos with Moxie and TUK are just adorable! Here's to a happy, healthy 2009 for all!

I have cat named Kiki for the same reason. I found a momma cat & litter of kittens. I kept the momma cat, got her shots & spayed her & put her outside with my other two cats. She decided to live on her own again (I think she was tired of the kittens!), and I found homes for all the kittens but one. She was super shy & didn't trust anybody. I made her an outdoor cat since humans seemed to stress her out. She stuck around since I filled her bowl everyday, and we just always said "Here kitty kitty." After a year of feeding her every single day, she finally trusted me enough to let me pet her. Now she's indoors… I'm the only person allowed anywhere near her, but she adores me so much I finally had to give her a name. Kiki, the shortened form of kitty kitty, stuck.
